Born, raised, and educated in the Pacific Northwest, I developed a passion for music at a young age.
Unbeknownst to me, picking up my first pair of sticks in the 5th grade for band class was a catalyst that would shape the direction of my life. It pushed me to take private lessons as a teenager to expand my skills, play jazz in high school to expand my knowledge, start rock bands in college to expand my song writing, and eventually move to NYC to expand my career.
I received two bachelors degrees from the University of Washington (Seattle) in Ethnomusicology and Communication, plus a minor in Music.
I hope not only to improve your skills, but also help spark your passion to play and learn.
Besides drums, I also play guitar and sing in two bands...
Flatscreen is an original post-punk quartet based in Brooklyn and plays regularly around NYC.
Straight to Hell is a NYC based Clash tribute band that has been active since 2011. We play all over the Northeast.
